Kevin Coyle was raised Irish Catholic in New York City and was born again reading the Campus Crusade (CRU) tract “The Four Spiritual Laws” at New Mexico State University where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology. He was discipled by the Navigators and the Christ as Life Church and school of ministries.

 

He worked as a mechanical design engineer for seven years before receiving an M.A. degree in Biblical Studies from Regent University. After serving a Presbyterian church as Missions and Evangelism Director for three years the Coyle’s were sent out from Virginia Beach and spent 30 years in China and Thailand as Christian missionaries. The first four years of that wonderful experience is told in “In The Dragon’s Lair, A Cure for the Bored and Missionless Christian” by the pen name Maverick.
